I bid you welcome! This site is dedicated to classic monster and science fiction movie history books. The purpose of this web page is to share with other collectors information about what kinds of books are available. I also hope to gather information from others as by no means do I claim that this is a comprehensive/all inclusive listing. There are tons of editions (especially foreign) that I do not own. I do however have every edition in this listing in my horror film book library. The focus is on the Universal Studios Classic Monster Movies. Some books contain all kinds of horror film information but in almost all cases a good part of the book covers the Universal Monsters. I enjoy many other types of older classic horror films but you have to stop the collecting someplace! For example you will find many books that have sections on the Hammer Films but you will find very few books that cover Hammer Films only. Yes, I do like these movies but my collecting has not branched that far out. As far as the sci-fi movie books go, they mainly cover films from the beginning of the genre to about the mid 1970's. Of course some of the more recent books will have sections on Star Wars etc but I do not collect books that focus on more modern sci-fi movies. Please email me with any corrections and additions to this list. In general, these books are not for sale but if you want some ideas on how to find some books or want a good price range I would be more than happy to help!
