Crestwood House Book Reading Center
This item took me about 15 years to acquire. A very well known magazine dealer and I started talking about this back in the 1990s. I would call every so often and ask about it. Eventually he traded it to a friend and business partner. I saw this person at Monster Bash and he said he would sell it to me. We ended up doing a deal on it (and lots of trading) and it is now a prized possesion in my collection. It contains six soft cover books, five of the six cassette tapes, and a teacher's manual. There is also a large box with monster book artwork on it that it was originally shipped in from Crestwood House in Makato, MN. I have all but three of the series in non library condition. The purple series are all in non-library new condition.
Notice that one of the Creature from the Black Lagoon copies is signed on the cover by Ben Chapman and Ricou Browning! Revenge of the Creature is signed by Lori Nelson. All signatures were received at Wonderfest.
